London: Methuen & Co, 1924. First Edition. Near Fine. First British edition, first printing. Second state with page number ix present at prelims. Publisher's blue cloth decorated in gilt on upper board and spine; lacking the dust jacket. Near Fine with light rubbing to cloth at corners and spine ends but on the whole a very bright and sharp copy, browning to endsheets, light toning and a light thumbing to pages. Uncommon in such nice condition.
