1939. 1939 Randall, Jane WHEN TOYS COULD TALK Akron: Saalfield, c1939 unpaginated Illustrated by Fern Bisel Peat with 6 full-color plates plus duo-tone illustrated endpapers, black and white illustrations within the text sq 4to Thick Cardboard pictorial covers with red spiral binding lower corner tips lightly bruised, minimal shelf-rubbing along edges of covers, interior clean and unblemished, fine hardcover in moderately worn dust jacket with some loss of paper on upper edge of spine panel and small chip out of upper edge of front panel; normal shelf-rubbing and wear on the edges and folds of jacket.
