Black and white illustrations & illustrative plates throughout. Edited by Harry Baron. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild crinkling & mild tanning. Boards have mild edge wear with light rubbing and crushing. Some light marking and tanning causing discolouration. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. There is bumping to corners. Boards are bowed. Book has a slight forward lean.

Hanover House, 1956. Hardcover. Acceptable/Acceptable. 1956. No Edition Remarks. 222 pages. Illustrated dustjacket over blue cloth. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Binding is shaky, however pages remain fully attached. Some pages are dog-earred. Pencil inscription to front endpaper. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Spine has crushing to both ends. Book has forward lean. Clipped jacket has moderate edgewear with chips, tears and creasing. Blue staining present.

Spine is faded and rubbed, but sturdy. Binding exposed at front, but otherwise intact. Interior age toned, but otherwise clean.

Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with soft splitting and crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.

The purple dust jacket is covered in mylar and features yellow and black printing on the spine and front and back covers with an illustration on the front cover. The dust jacket has been price-clipped and has a few minor scuff marks, else fine. 222 pages that are white, clean, crisp, unmarked and uncreased except for a small discoloration at the bottom of the front flyleaf and the top and bottom of the back flyleaf, else as new.
