About This Item
London: Ernest Benn, 1978. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 10 ¾ x 8 ½. The interior of the book is crisp and clean. There is a gift inscription to a former owner (Christmas 1978) on the front free end paper, but no other marks and very few signs of previous use. The illustrated covers are bright, with just a bit of wear at tips and corners. A very nice copy. Synopsis: "His real name was Prince Amir of Kinjan, but everybody who met the Afghan puppy would take one look at him -- a tangled bundle of soggy fur -- and say, "Good grief! What a mess!".
