Very good in a worn dust jacket (ownership signature of poet Elizabeth Harrod in book, and marks where a Kinnell poem clipped from a magazine was stapled onto the dedication page. The staple has been removed, but the poem is laid in. Corners slightly bumped. Dustjacket has some chips, staining on the back cover, rubbing and general edgewear.) Obviously a loved and read copy of this important book, and as such rather appealing.. First printing. Prize winning poet's first published book - INSCRIBED on the title page "To..... best wishes, Mt Pleasant, April 18, 1961."
