Orange and white endpapers by Gretta. Black topstain. Frontispiece on plain paper. Moderate shelf/edge wear, tiny chips and dust soiling to original DJ that still has vibrant colors. DJ now in mylar. No previous owner markings - all pages are clean and unmarked. Good paper. 230 chapters. This is the 10th title in a series of 58. Dust Jacket B, Format IV per AXE. Inside front DJ flap lists to The Crisscross Shadow (which was published in 1953) and has 9595 at top and 100-140 at bottom. Rear DJ flaps list to The Bitter Spring Feud of The Lone Ranger Series. Rear panel of DJ has ad for 15 Lone Ranger titles. Per AAC Boys Series Books by Axe, pg 98,99 and Mattson 30300. A very respectable vintage copy that still presents well in the original DJ.
