Stiff printed wrappers, 65pp. Uncut. Jaastad relates the life story of George Washington Oaks, early California settler, California Infantryman, teamster, freighter, Indian wars scout, and participant in the Battle of Beecher Island. Oaks was personally acquainted with mountain man Pauline Weaver, guide and scout California Joe Milner, Buffalo Bill, General Crook, John P. Clum, Johnny Behan, Billy Breakenridge, the Earps, and other notable Tombstone residents. Six Guns 1118 says "Contains some new material on Bat Masterson, the Earps, Doc Holliday, the O. K. Corral fight, the Clantons ....." Fine in stiff, printed wrappers.
