Limited to 300 copies of which this is copy number 212. Illustrated with frontispiece, twenty-seven plates and many in-text illustrations. With collections of stories and sketches, including: Old Musical Echoes of the Cathedral, The Last Bonivilles, and A Wife and A Mother of Carews. Written by William Henry Hamilton Rogers, an English historian and antiquarian who specialised in the West Country of England. In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, smart with light bumping and rubbing to the extremities. Light fraying to the head of the spine. Internally, generally, firmly bound. Hinges slightly strained but firm. First 10 pages have disbound but are present in the text. Pages are very bright and clean with minor age toning to the edges. Good

Printed for the author and sold by James G. Commin, Exeter, 1895. First Edition. Hardcover. Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. Limited edition no. 37 of 300 copies. Publishers' blue cloth gilt binding, rubbed at extremities, spine and gilt faded, a little fraying. Text block is foxed and browned as usual, rather shaken, a couple of loose plates.
