Light general wear, one corner lightly bumped, edges and endsheets lightly foxed; jacket rubbed and edgeworn, with some loss at the spine ends; corners of front flap clipped leaving $2.75 price. INSCRIBED by the author: "A. L. Rowse with profound | appreciation of all that | Robert Neal has done to | recall Cornwall at Mineral | Point. May time 1959." "Narratives both of fact and fiction" almost all regarding Cornwall. Mineral Point is one of the earliest settlements in Wisconsin; Cornish miners came there for work in the lead mines, their tunnels giving Wisconsin its 'Badger State' nickname; Neal was involved in the preservation and restoration of some of their dwellings.. Later Printing. Cloth. Very Good/Good. 5¼" by 7½".
