About This Item
London: Ward, Lock & Co., 1945. Reprinted 1945 . Hardcover. Very Good/Good. 7.5 x 5. The interior of the book is clean and crisp, without even the name of a former owner, though the paper is starting to tan along the edges. The beige cloth covers are fresh and bright, showing only bumping to the top and bottom of the spine and the corners. The DJ is only in Good overall condition, not price-clipped, but with rubbing and edgewear, some chipping, and one nick (1/4" x 1/8") missing from the top of the spine area, which removes part of the initial A of the title. The DJ artwork is nostalgic, and the DJ looks just fine in its protective plastic cover. Synopsis: From the moment Martin Everard took up his residence at Dennington Hall things began to happen.
