New endpapers, speckled page edges. 19.5 × 12.5cm, 250pp. Norman Douglas' second novel. This is a fantasy based on Breton folklore and set in a mythical city in Brittany in the late Roman era, and where Norman Douglas presents an allegory of goodness pitted against beauty. Condition: Very good condition, with some tanning to the pages and sun-fading to the leather spine but in very good order nevertheless.
