Spine ends slightly rubbed, very slightly cocked, else a clean, bright copy in original color pictorial dust jacket (some edge wear, including a ½" chip at lower left corner of front panel).
First edition. Robert Lawson's second book and the first to feature the distinctive pen-and-ink style he would become famous for! Two tales about a group of loveable Wee Men filled with humor and imagination and wonderfully captured in Robert Lawson's charming illustrations.
