Blue coloured cloth covered boards with gilt embossed titles to the front panel and backstrip. Rubbing to the book corners and backstrip corners. There is a faint blue spatter to all text block edges. The dictionary has thumbnail imprints for the various letters. The first two pages of the book and last few pages of the book have been creased, running vertically. Previous owners ex libris plate is affixed to the free front end paper and then naming is also placed to the top right-hand corner of the same page.
