First edition, this copy signed in ink at the first blank page by Weber and Fields, with the bookplate of author and Warner Music Group executive Stan Cornyn at the front pastedown. 8vo, xii, [2], 15 - 345 pages, plus 20 unnumbered leaves of plates, pp. 319 - 345 providing an appendix of printed music. Original gilt-lettered green cloth. Lacking the dust jacket.

Moderate wear at the spine extremities & corners (including a couple of nicks), spine gilt a bit dull, brief gift inscription, light toning & foxing, a good or better copy.
