About This Item

Detroit: Broadside Press, 1971. Softcover. Very Good. First edition, second printing. Introduction by Dudley Randall. Stapled illustrated wrappers. Very good with small stain, toning and general wear including rubbing and creasing. Inscribed by Sanchez to her close friend, the singer and actress, Novella Nelson, who produced Sanchez's play *Sister Son/Ji* at the Public Theater in 1972: "to Sister Novella - Blk/ women be badd DDD! yeah! blk/love, sister sonia." A nice association.
