Octavo (21cm.); publisher's cloth in decorative dust jacket, purple topstain; 284pp. Jacket extremities a bit chipped with a few short closed tears and shallow loss, rear panel foxed and slightly soiled, later ownership signature to front free endpaper, else Very Good overall. Presumed reprint, lacking "First Edition" statement on copyright page. "The New Yorker" humorist "tosses the Press into the air for a sharp and irreverent once-over" (upper jacket panel).
