Originally published in 1908, this is a new edition, revised by A. Bruce Jackson. Green cloth boards with titles in gilt and black and gilt fern design on front. Text block has green speckled edges. Decorative endpapers with photos. Contains colour illustrations and b&w photos.
Boards rubbed along edges, most noticeably on bumped corners and at head and foot of spine; vertical crease runs the length of the front cover. Owner's name on half title page; pages otherwise clean. Binding firm.
