A biography of the first African-American member - and Fellow - of the American Institute of Architects. He designed over 3,000 buildings including multi-million dollar estates for Hollywood stars and modest homes for low-income families. This book is in the form of a journal Williams wrote for his grandson and has been written by his granddaughter and director of his archives. Illustrated with her photographs, some in color. Never read, very shelf wear.
