Reissue of the South African poet laureate's 2004 collection, gathering work written over 40 years. Kgositsile (1938-2018), who studied African-American literature extensively, is considered to be one of the earliest and most significant African authors of the Pan-African movement to bridge the gap between African and Black poetry.
