Photography became her antidote to the isolation that she felt, a means for telling stories and making clear what it was that occupied her. In 2009 Xu started to photograph the city from which she and her parents had come for a series. Wenzhou is a large port city in the eastern province of Zhejiang, with a population of three million. She was overwhelmed by the combination of memories and contemporary experiences. She could identify with the city, but at the same time felt herself to be an outsider – just as she did in The Netherlands. Terms of payment
Invoices are to be paid within 15 days. For first orders we reserve delivery after payment in advance. In case of delay of payment, the second reminder is charged at an extra cost of CHF 10.00. Also, other additional costs are charged to the customer.
Sales return
In the event of a well-founded claim, the merchandise can be returned upon consultation within 14 days. If the claim turns out to be unsubstantiated, or the damage is the result from improper handling by the customer etc., all the costs are charged to the customer. Returns are only accepted with the invoice enclosed. Damages during shipment have to be notified within 48 hours. Otherwise the refund expires. Return upon dissatisfaction is excluded.
Place of venue
We are subject only to Swiss law. Place of venue is Zurich.
