Sir Walter Scott is best known today for his novels and poetry, including 'Ivanhoe' and 'The Lady of the Lake'. He wrote a lot about his birthplace of Scotland, though with his experiments in historical fiction, he expanded to writing about various places in England and Europe. In a half calf binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, generally smart. Spines and joints are faded. Light bumping to the extremities. Rubbing to the boards and spines, resulting in a small amount of loss of leather to the rear board of 'Guy Mannering', a little loss of paper to the rear board of Volume XIX, and to the front board of Volume XXI. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with the odd scattered spot, mostly to the first and last few pages. Very Good
