INSCRIBED by prize-winning poet Ashbery to Pulitzer Prize winner and Poet Laureate Anthony Hecht and wife on title page, "for Tony and Helen with love, John Ashbery / May 23,1984." Spots of excess ink to fore-edges of last several leaves (appears to be a production error), otherwise crisp and fine in fine, wrap-around pictorial dust jacket with just one inconspicuous tear.
