Watson-Guptill Publications, 1947. First Edition . Cloth. Very Good/Poor. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall. Rowlandson, Thomas. (1st) Very large, very heavy book, rough cream cloth with embossed artist's last name at top front, bright gilt lettering on spine, ink note at top of first front end paper, 126 pages plus a bibliography, illustrations throughout, some in color. Lightly soiled on spine, DJ black spine and back with front borders black, a color-illustration of suitors at front. DJ is worn and torn at all edges, a large near-chip at top back right. Poor DJ/Very Good book.
