Stanford: Stanford University Press, 1928. 1st edition. Cloth. Good +. 1st edition. SIGNED. A Good + copy. 8vo., ix, 443 pp. Blue cloth with gilt titles. INSCRIBED "with highest regard of the author" with his hanko in red ink below. The cloth boards are rubbed at the edges and tips. Occasional penciled checkmarks in the margins. An analysis of the Washington Naval Conference convened in 1921, by Japanese born Ichihashi, who emigrated to the US in 1894 at 16. He later graduated Stanford and earned his Phd. at Harvard. He was interned during WWII under FDR's Executive Order 9066. Previous owner's book plate (person inscription is to).
