London: Frederick Warne and Co., 1868. 1st Edition . Good Plus. 5.75 x 7.5 inches (14.5 x 19 cm). First edition. Half black leather with textures cloth boards. Slight cracking to front joint but solidly bound. Slight fading and a few light marks to boards. Heavy browning to page edges. Light foxing and occasional marks to text. Faint tobacco smell. Complete with all 24 chromolithographic plates by Kronheim. Plate at page 508 has wear and chipping to edges (appears to have been re-attched). Further illustrations within the text. Previous owner's inscription to title page, dated 1876. Includes a couple of handwritten cake recipes on lined writing paper, loosely inserted. . Overall condition is Good Plus. Size: 5.75 x 7.5 inches (14.5 x 19 cm). Hardback. Printed pages: viii,728
