London, Evans Brothers Limited, 1923 1st Ltd. 1030/1500 copies. (Art canvas.). Tall hardback, approx 11 x 9 inches. Grey cloth with gilt lettering to spine and small gilt design to front. In very good condition. Some rubbing to cloth on edges and corners. One small nick to cloth on top edge of front board. Endpapers cracked between hinges. Some tanning and minor foxing to endpapers. No penned inscriptions. Numbered at front. Some occasional minor handling marks, crease to bottom corner of pages between p35-50. Else a very good clean and tight copy. 240pp. 128 B&W photo illustrations on 59 plates bound at rear (all with annotated tissue guards.) 11 colour plates bound within text.
