Sixteen black and white illustrations by book illustrator Alexy Pendle. Condition: Fine, in a Near Fine slipcase. The Warden of a Barsetshire almshouse is suspected of fiduciary irregularities in this classic of Victorian literature, first published in 1855. The first installment in Trollope's Basetshire Chronicles series, made into the 1982 BBC mini-series, "The Barchester Chronicles." . Hard Cover. Fine . Illus. by Alexy Pendle.
