No. 1-TLP/VFW, this book was a prelude the renewal of the Armed Services Editions issued by the Council on Books in Wartime during World War II, the seven books in this new series were all developed by Carroll and his Legacy Project, a national nonprofit organization that works to preserve American war letters, the book covers the Civil War, World War I and II, the Korean War, and Vietnam to the present day, it was issued solely for use for the Veterans of Foreign Wars, this book was followed by the seven books that renewed the Armed Services Editions, those seven books were distributed to military all over the world, including those fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan, this copy Signed by Andy Carroll, this version of War Letters is in the upright/vertical format. Fine.
