Gen Sherman from Atlanta, Georgia to Savannah Georgia in black ink. Illustrated throughout with photographs (some full page) and drawings in black and white. Contains a list of illustrations. [xxvi] 196 pp. Dust jacket front is a full-cover black and white photograph of General Sherman. Spine is orange with black lettering. The back cover dj is gray with additional books about Georgia from The Beehive Press. FROM THE DUST JACKET: This volume presents General Sherman's own memoir of the march through Georgia, first published in 1875, with letters to his wife, never before printed in their complete form, and many contemporary drawings, photographs and maps - altogether a dramatic and unique record of the Civil War. <br><br>CONDITION: This is a lovely copy, and a very nice gift for any Civil War buff or military enthusiast. Only light fading around the edges of the book's cover, and minimal rubbing and light marks on the dj (particularly on the back). A really very keen copy. Full refund if not satisfied.
