London: Charles Tilt: and Simkin and Marshall: Wrightson and Webb, 1840. Early. Fair. This is the North Wales volume only of a two volume set, first published in 1836 Undated, but the publisher credits went through multiple combinations over just a few years (Tilt and Bogue, Tilt and Simpkin, etc) this particular list of publisher names suggest an early (pre-1840) printing
Book would be assessed as Good to VG but for the fact that both marbled boards are detached and an inch or so of the top of the spine is missing However the text block is solid and the board themselves are still in relatively good shape And the marbled end papers are also in good condition Order: Frontispiece plate, half title, title page, blank, 2 p preface, 3 p list of plates, 2 blank, 5 p toc, blank, 261 pp, blank, 2 p index, 2 blank Some foxing on first few pages through the title page, but otherwise the body of the text is in very good condition, with little browning Priced accordingly
