About This Item
Michigan: University of Michigan Press, 2004. Hardback octavo, dustjacket, very good condition (in very good dustjacket), minimal edgewear jacket, fore-edge lightly marked. 280 pp. The author is an University of Connecticut English professor, who was played by Robin Williams in the movie "Dead Poets Society". In this travelogue he writes energetically (sometimes critically) about his sabbatical year spent with family travelling around Australia, though based most of the time in Perth. Incredible details about flora and fauna (pedantic, actually). He lapses into his fictional fantasy world of Carthage, Tennessee when highly stressed.
