Signed presentation from Deutsch on the half-title page: "Hoping that Adam and Danny will find something to like in [then the title is printed] with every good wish, Babette Deutsch. January 1960." A pencil notation (from an unknown source] above the presentation states that Adam and Danny are the stepsons of American poet Karl Shapiro. 8vo., decorative blue cloth, stamped in black, in dust jacket; 278 pages. There is a certificate of authenticity card laid-in and well as a small related circular sticker at the base of a front page listing other books. Illustrated by Rafaello Busoni.. Very Good (covers nice but with very tiny tear head of spine; contents clean & tight); little wear & moderate soil (price-clipped) d/j.
