Philadelphia: The Penn Publishing Company, 1927. First Edition. Hardcover with Dust Jacket. Near Fine/Very Good. R. Pallen Coleman (dust jacket illustration). 8vo. Pp. 350. Bound in bright red cloth with black lettering and vignette stamped on front board, black lettering on spine. Light foxing to endpapers. In the dust jacket with some foxing on spine and rear panel. Dust jacket shows a comely lass, standing against a wall, neglected but for a framed portrait eyeing her. Dust jacket, illustrated by R. Pallen Coleman, features a bookmark as part of the front flap, which remains intact. Please see HELLER and CHWAST, Jackets Required, p. 78 ("the full-figured woman [as opposed to just a portrait of a woman's head] was only second to the full face in eye appeal"). Now enclosed in a removable, clear archival sleeve.
