New York: MacMillan Company, 1948. First Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. Book condition is Very Good; with a Very Good dust jacket. A few small chips, scuffs and tears to jacket. Crease to jacket at front panel. Thumb-nail size chip to jacket base at spine. Corners of flaps are clipped, however original publisher price remains intact. Text is clean and unmarked. First Printing is stated. A brilliant association, inscribed "for von Quine." The inscription appropriately appears to read "van Quine," "Van" being the name Quine was known by to those close to him. Quine and Skinner were colleagues at Harvard, and this lovely inscription captures a moment in the crossing lives of these two highly influential figures. ; Signed and inscribed by the author, B. F.
