London: Golden Cockerel Press, 1941. First, Limited Edition. Near fine. Sir William Rothstein. 8vo., 7 1/2 x 5 in (190 x 127 mm); 128 pp. Copy no. 58 of 250 numbered copy printed in 13 pt. Perpetua roman and Felicity italic type on Arnolds mould-made paper. Drawings of Hudson and Cunninghame Graham at the front of the book are by Sir William Rothenstein. quarter ed morocco binding with yellow cloth boards by Sangorski and Sutcilffe, London (ink stamp at foot of front inside cover), gilt title on spine, t.e.g., rest uncut. Very light fading on spine, interior clean, binding square. [Pertelote 150]. This book is important because it was the 150th published by the Golden Cockerel Press: with it they "completed its 'century-and-a-half'." [Pertelote 150] Robert Bontine Cunninghame Graham (1852 - 1936) was a Scottish politician, writer, journalist and adventurer.
