Includes Kyrriographic characters inscribed by Caciques on deed, Don Juan Herves Plan of the Isle of San Carlos, Modern Admiralty chart of Easter Island after survey by Chilean Corvette O'Higgins. Appendices include extract from log of voyage of Roggeveen in the ships Den Arend, Thienhoven And De Afrikaansche Galey. Appendices of Behren's narrative of visit, note on Don Manuel de Amats successor, extract from letter relating to Don Felipe Gonzalez's voyage, extract from Journal by Lieut. George Peard of HMS Blossom 1825.
