Voss (1957) is the fifth published novel of Patrick White. It is based upon the life of the nineteenth-century Prussian
explorer and naturalist Ludwig Leichhardt who disappeared whilst on an expedition into the Australian outback. –Wiki

Synopsis
PATRICK WHITE (1912-1990), an Australian novelist and playwright, won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1973. His novel The Vivisector was shortlisted for the Lost Man Booker Prize in 2010.
