The contents of this volume include letters to and from Edward Blount, Robert Digby, Dr. Atterbury, Mr. Gay, and "Several Persons." First Edition Thus; a large and heavy octavo in a full leather binding, ruled on the covers in gilt. Five raised bands on the spine, with decorations and titling in gilt. Clean text, lightly toned; vi, 425 pages; Appendix, Index. Marbled endpapers; speckled page ends; armorial bookplate on the front paste-down. Rubbed at the margins; with chips on the spie, at head and foot. Both covers are present, but unattached.While not disbound, [Please note the condition issues; Quercus must offer this as a Binding Copy, in need of repair or restoration.]. First Thus. Disbound. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
