By the Rev. William Lisle Bowles, A.M. Prenendary of Salisbury, and Chaplain to His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales." The contents of this volume include letters to and from Edward Blount, Robert Digby, Dr. Atterbury, Mr. Gay, and "Several Persons." First Edition Thus; a large and heavy octavo in a full leather binding, ruled on the covers in gilt. Five raised bands on the spine, with decorations and titling in gilt. Clean text, lightly toned; vi, 425 pages; Appendix, Index. Marbled endpapers; speckled page ends; armorial bookplate on the front paste-down. Rubbed at the margins; with chips on the spie, at head and foot. Both covers are present, but unattached.While not disbound, [Please note the condition issues; Quercus must offer this as a Binding Copy, in need of repair or restoration.]. First Thus. Disbound.
