In English. This appears to be a gift or momento book celebrating the northern Italian luxury hotel on Lake Como, complete with a breezy recounting of the original inhabitants, famous-- and infamous-- guests, and views of its expansive gardens. (This is not the Villa D'Este near Rome, however, with an even more famous renaissance garden). Condition: Very Good Plus in a Very Good slipcase. Tanning to the vellum spine, and light age toning to the pages. A former owner's bookplate to front pastedown. Some small wear to slipcase.. Hard Cover. Very Good Plus.
