About This Item

Sydney: Angus and Robertson, 1954. Hardcover. xiii, 482p., illustrated with many vignette-size silhouettes and a peculiar frontis self-portrait by Jorgensen himself. Hardbound in 9.5x6 inch blue cloth boards lettered gilt. A much-handled copy, the spine title grown faint with handling; top, tail and corner-tips all bear a touch of fray, expect a florid ownership to front free endpaper and a Tasmanian seller's fiche to pastedown. Otherwise sound, otherwise clean, otherwise unmarked, a good (good-only) copy. Currently a rather uncommon item.
