Buck covers have normal minor wear, interior has library bookplates and stamps, front card cover has punched stamp, first few leaves have short clear tears at edges, otherwise clean and unmarked. Handsome and servicable copy, heavy for international shipping. Billiard looks at grape growing and wine production throughout the ancient world, including Hittites, Macedonians, Romans, Egyptians, Carthaginians, the Ancient Greeks and follows the Romans to various parts of their Empire and subsequent viniculture.
