Ulverston: H.W. Mackereth, 1111. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. Not dated but believed to be 1900 and first edition and printing. In quite good black cloth boards with gilt titles and decorated borders to front. The covers are tight and straight, edge-worn and cornerss bumped. "The Clevedon Community Bookshop Co-operative Bindery Team" have taken the covers off, reformed the spine cover and inserted new white end papers. The text block is in good condition, with firm, fairly clean pages, with slight warp, especially to last few pages. Small closed tear on tail edge of title page. The numerous b/w photos are bright and sharp. No dedications etc. Good condition. Not paginated. Without jacket.
