Illustrated half-title. Color frontispiece. Illustrated title page. When first published in 1766 this was one of the most popular and widely read novels among Victorians. illustrated with 12 color plates and numerous in-text drawing by Arthur Rackham. Binding with light wear along edges, spine sunned but gilt lettering still well legible. Endpaper illustrations browned along edges. Book block age-toned along edges. Binding and interior in overall good- condition.
