Krochs & Brentanos' "1st edition circle" bookmark laid in. William F. Buckley Jr. (1925 - 2008) was an American public intellectual, conservative author and political commentator. In 1955, he founded National Review, a Conservative standard; and he hosted the public affairs long-running television show Firing Line (1966-1999).<br /> <br /> SIGNED & in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION internally & externally. Very Slight wear to the unclipped dust jacket. No previous owner or remainder markings. Tenth Brandford Oakes' mystery.
