About This Item
Amhers and Boston: University of Massachusetts Press, 2004. Paperback. Very good. Martha Wright and her sister Lucretia Mort were organizers of the Seneca Falls Women's Rights Convention in 1848, the beginning of the women's sufferage movement in America. She was also active in the Underground Railroad. Mr. Livingston is a direct descendant of Martha Wright; Sherry Penney, married to Livingson, is a Professor at the University of Massachusetts.
