Inscribed and signed by author on the title page. Bright, clean copy in as new condition. Inscription: "Best wishes, Bob Shaw". The author creates a world where personal counter-gravity devices allow people to fly like birds causing all aircraft to be grounded. An intelligent and immensely readable novel. 1978
