From The Complete Works of 1908, nineteenth century French author, remembered for his successful short stories and as a representative of the Naturalist school. Comprising a collection of poems and unedited poems, as well as letters by the author's mother, Mme Laure de Maupassant exchanged with famous French author, Gustave Flaubert. The text is consistent with that of the original edition, 'Des Vers,' 1880. In attractive half calf binding over marbled boards. With 'Guy Maupassant' watermarks to the blank leaves. In a half calf binding over marbled boards, gilt to the top edge and gilt tooling to the spine. Externally smart with minor shelf wear and minor rubbing to the spine and extremities. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. Very Good
