India: Facsimile Publisher. Second Edition. Hardback. Very Good +. Facsimile of the 1876 second edition of Veritas by Henry Melville. Leatherbound copy from Facsimile Publisher with gilt particulars and two raised bands to spine; decorative gilt debossed rule in decorative brown debossed rule to boards with gilt particulars to front board. All edges gilt, red silk bookmarker and decorative endpapers. Pages are clean and unmarked. Gilt text block has light shelf wear. Boards are clean and bright with black mark to headcap of spine; corners bumped. Binding is tight and square.
