Grosset and Dunlap Reprint Verdun Belle and some others....by Alexander Woollcott-originally published under the title 'Two Gentlemen and a Lady' copyright 1928 by Coward-McCann-this is a Grosset and Dunlap reprint with illustrations by Edwina (nice dog pictures). Hardback 121 page black book with yellow lettering has eps decorated with dog pictures and shows minor foxing-overall very good condition. Book contains stories of 3 different dogs-an airdale, a German shepherd, and Verdun Belle 'a setter bitch of humble and suspect ancestry'. Dust jacket is soiled, is missing some paper, and is in a Brodart protector. NOT AN EX-LIB!. Hard Cover. Very Good/Fair. Illus. by Edwina.
