About This Item

New York: Macfadden Books, 1963. First Edition, First Issue. PBO. 60-142 (Holroyd page 352). The true first printing, with the dedication to Leo J. Hombach and Rabbi Julius A. Leibert on the copyright page, no table of contents, and no list of additional titles or printings. 192pp. Edges stained red (as issued). A tiny bit of edge wear but overall about near fine. Extremely scarce in the first printing. From back cover: "Come to the Party -- and bring your wife!" ...An innocent-sounding invitation in any man's language. Except when "party" spells "sex orgy" - and "bring your wife" means she's to be swapped for someone else for the night. Does this really happen? It does. The entertainment varies. From a heap of car keys, a wife chooses a key - and its owner. Or blindfolded husbands just grab -- any wife who happens to be handy. And no one need worry, ever, about running out of partners. After all, it's a favorite parlor game - played all over America." Classic volume from which the band with Lou Reed and John Cale, took their name.
